Building a Culture of Volunteerism in the Local Church
Many church leaders today find that the 80/20 Rule applies to the labor of their ministry. The phenomenon of 80% of the work attended to by 20% of the people most often has a high burnout rate among those carrying the load. In this workshop we’ll examine the underlying conditions that foster this phenomenon in churches, and the consequences. We’ll also explore some best practices among churches that have made progress in changing their culture. The goal of the workshop is to foster ideas and put useful tools in the hands of participants to take back to their ministries
