Lessons from Francis Schaeffer: If Schaeffer Were Here, What Would He Say?

Apart from it being a presumptuous exercise to guess what Schaeffer might say if he were at the Forum today, the attempt is nonetheless valuable. His impact on Evangelical thinking in the 20th century was profound. It even seems as if, after a period of neglect, interest in his ideas is growing again. The workshop will look at two of his well-known expressions to see how they apply today – ‘True Truth’ and ‘True Spirituality’. This workshop will be comprised of mainly discussion rather than lecture.
