What is your ministry?
I lead IFES staff team in Belarus. We serve to students in Belarus by organising Bible study groups for them and some evangelistic and apologetic events. Also, I lead Bible study group and sometimes preach in my church and another churches. I'm a teacher in Minsk Theological Institute. My subject is Introduction in New Testament.
When did you trust Christ?
I made this decision at a youth conference in my city at the age of 12 years old.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Christian apologetics has been of great importance in my faith. The books of C. S. Lewis, G. K. Chesterton, and Francis Schaeffer have significantly impacted me and formed my worldview.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
The Forum is a great opportunity to meet strong Christian leaders, hear from good speakers, and gain new ideas for my ministry. I have also attended the Eastern European Leadership Forum many times. This conference is modeled after the European Leadership Forum. The Eastern European Leadership Forum has had a tremendous impact on my ministry. After attending in 2023, I started to study the Old Testament, I re-taught some seminars that I listened to in Wisla for my staff, bought and read books, and prepared a few seminars. Unfortunately, we could not invite many people from Europe to Belarus because of the political situation, but despite that, Michael Ots came. Also, every March, we organise a series (3-5 meetings) of apologetic events in 5-6 cities in Belarus. The topics we discuss are from ELF. Around 150-180 students come to these events.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
For several years, I was my church's ministry leader for teenagers. I was previously a staff worker for CCX in Belarus, which is part of the ministry of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students in Belarus.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I went to the Forum in Poland 2 times and twice participated online. Before that, I regularly visited the East European Leadership Forum in Kyiv. I have grown through the influence of EELF and ELF. For example, the apologetics club I lead is a Christian worldview project based on my participation in ELF seminars. We also regularly invite speakers from the Forum to IFES Belarus events.
