What is your ministry?
Presently, I serve with Royal Rangers as a student leader. This organisation wants to introduce Christ to boys. They want the participants to know, follow, and proclaim Christ to their friends. Hiking, outdoors, camping, and survival are all part of the program. The Bible and the teaching/person of Jesus Christ are at the center of everything we do. This program is an evangelistic tool and I am happy I can be one of their volunteer leaders. I am also part of the worship ministry of our church, where I play bass and guitar. And I also serve with photography.
When did you trust Christ?
I grew up in a Christian family. My conversion was more of a progress. However, I recall one decisive moment in a summer camp at the Word of Life Hungary ministries when I committed to giving my life to Jesus.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
My pastor was/is the most defining person in my life. But maybe the most defining moment of my life was when I was serving at Word of Life Hungary in their summer camps. There was a teenager who told me that I helped him to find God.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I feel called by God to be a pastor in the future. I want to learn how to prepare for this future role from seasoned and mature leaders. This conference will provide an excellent time to connect with pastors from various backgrounds. I plan to talk with as many people as possible while there.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
First, I was serving with Royal Rangers. This is a Christian Boy Scout organisation. I served as a student leader in their organisation. I still serve as a unit leader, responsible for 10-12 boys in my group. Second, I served two summers at the Word of Life summer camp as a camp counselor, and then last summer (2023), I served as the Dining Room Director, coordinating meal service for a camp with a weekly attendance of 250.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am very thankful that others will help me participate. I want to serve God and would like to pass on what I receive at the conference to others.
