DESCRIPTION OF FORUM MENTORING
Since its introduction in 2006, Forum Personal Mentoring has been an important part of the Forum programme. This initiative provides Forum participants with the chance to talk one on one with an experienced leader (in some cases two leaders) in their particular fields.
What is Forum Personal Mentoring?
Forum Personal Mentoring usually follows these patterns:

Mentees sign-up for type(s) of mentoring that interest them using the sign-up forms found on our website

Each mentee is assigned a mentor who specialises in his or her particular field

Mentoring meetings occur at the Forum over breakfast or lunch
-
Each mentoring session usually lasts for about an hour
During a mentoring meeting, mentees are able to:

Pose difficult questions

Seek advice on a specific situation

Learn more about a particular topic of interest

Receive prayer and gain encouragement
The Forum provides a number of different mentoring opportunities, all of which are listed below. We encourage you, even if you have participated in a Forum Personal Mentoring Meeting in the past, to look over the choices carefully as Forum Personal Mentoring expands each year.
All Forum participants are welcome to sign-up for a Forum Personal Mentoring Meeting at the 2011 Forum. To do so, please fill out a sign-up form.

Forum Academic Mentoring
